Welcome!
When I heard Schwarzenegger allegedly hired Porter Novelli for $500,000 to greenwash the pending aerial pesticide spray in California--a spray known to cause cancer and lung disease in animals--I thought to myself...
I'm as good or better as any public relations professional out there, especially executives at Porter Novelli. I've got the same, or better, media contacts. And I've got passion to use words to counterpunch leaders who flush our tax dollars down the propaganda drain.
It is not okay to spray aerial pesticides on tens of millions of Californians, as if we're bugs.
I'm not standing by.
It's rumored that Schwarzenegger received poor publicity regarding his alleged hire of friend PR firm, Porter Novelli. So allegedly, Schwarzenegger reneged.
But who knows the truth? Let's learn together.
I started my career in Washington, DC as a reporter at Forbes. I also worked at CNN for a brief stint as the Washington D.C. stringer for "The Good News" show. I met my four-year live-in boyfriend, Kenny, CNN's political producer at the time, and became close to his parents.
This morning I woke up wondering about Hal.
Hal is Kenny's stepdad, super warm and friendly. He retired from many years as an editor at ABC and 20/20 where he knew Barbara Walters well. I like 20/20. New Yorkers wouldn't want to be sprayed like unwanted bugs, I'm sure.
Aerial pesticide spraying on large city populations is getting positive spin throughout Schwarzenegger's office, the Agricultural Dept. and the Pesticide Chemical Company that gave Schwarzenegger six figures in campaign contributions.
It's time for the pending poisoning of Californians to receive national media attention.
I have more to say about this, but for now I'm running off to Laguna Beach with my best friend. A reprieve from tax week, and all the news that's fit and unfit to print.
